How many ice cream has to be selected????? i.e. Suppose 8 different variety`s are as follows - a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h . Now if we select atleast 2 from a then further we can`t take any step.

  • We have to choose at least 2 of same kind. So there would be two different cases:
  • 2 same 1 different, i.e. 8C1×7C1
  • All different, i.e. 8C1
  • Total =56+8=64
