he can either choose 3 questins from first 5 and 7 from the rest or 4 from the first five and 6 from the rest or 5 from the first five and 5 from the rest

5C3 x 8C7 + 5C4 x 8C6 + 5C5 x 8C5

=80+140+56

=276
