A regular polygon with n sides has equal angles of 60 degrees. How many sides does the figure have?

we know that number of sides in a polygon= number of angles in a polygon.
also, sum of angles of an n-sided polygon= 180(n – 2) degree.
since it is regular, and each angle is 60 degree, we can say sum of angles would also be equal to 60*n
hence 60n= 180(n – 2)
or n= 3n – 6
2n=6
or n= 3 (equilateral triangle)
