Hello student,
Please find the answer to your question below
From the given data
A man 160 cm tall walks away from a source of light situated at the top of the pole 6m high at the rate of 1.1 m/sec.
So x2+y2=1002+4402 by differentiating
we get dy/dt=(-x/y)dx/dt by substituting the values we get dy/dt=0.4cm/s
