No. of times it would bounce = > 100/0.8 = > 125.
that is:
h + 4h/5 + (4^2/5^2)h + (4^3/5^3)h + …................+
=> h ( 1 + 4/5 + (4/5)^2 + (4/5)^3 + ….........+ 125 times)
=> h(1(1 – (4/5)^125)/(1 – 4/5)
=> 100*5*(1 – (4/5)^125)
=> 500(1) {approx}.
=> 500 meter.
