Hello student,
Let the balls of red, green, blue and yellow colours be denoted by R, G, B and Y. If the first ball drawn is R then the secondball drawn may be G, B or Y. Similarly, if the first ball drawn is G then thesecondball drawn may be R, B or Y and so on.
Sample space, S = { (R,G), (R,B), (R,Y), (G,R), (G,Y), (G,B), (B,R), (B,Y), (B,G),(Y,R), (Y,B), (Y,G) }.
