Subtract equation 1 from 2 :
a^2 - b^2 = b - a
(a+b) (a-b) = b-a
Hence, a + b = -1
Similarly,
b+c = -1
c+a = -1
a+b = -1
Now subtract any two derived equations :
b - a = 0, c - b = 0, a - c = 0
Hence, a = b = c = -1/2
Hence, now the given equation = 3/a+1 = 6
Answer = 6
