4 coins are tossed and the outcome is 4 heads. What is the probability of a head on the 5th toss.i agree that it is ½ but is the 5th toss really an independent event.Doesn’t the fact that there have been 4 heads earlier change the probability very slightly.

No outcome of an tossed coin is independent event so it`s value does not depend on previous outcome. So probability for head in 5th toss is exactly 1/2
