find the radius R of the largest sphere that can be fitted in a closed right circular cone with radius r and heighth in terms of r and h.

sinΘ = R/(h-R)

and

 sinΘ = r/√(r² +h²)

so

  r/√(r² +h²)  = R/(h-R)

simplyfy

  R = h/[1+√(1 +(h/r)²)]
