hi samiksha

as the coefficient of x^2 is one it is a upward parabola

from graph you can draw the following conclusion

if f(x) = x^2-ax-a+3

then f(1) < 0  and  f(1) =  - 2a + 4

put the value in the inequality you will get the range of a
