By lowering the price of apples and selling them 10 paise a dozen cheaper, an applewoman finds that she can sell 60 more than she used to do for Rs 6. At what price per dozen did she sell them at first?

Dear Rishabh,

Let the price per dozen be x;

And let she sold y dozen apples in Rs6

x*y = (x-0.1)* (y+5) = 6;
