hie i want to learn about rotation of a point with respect to some other point. for example, if a vertex of an equilateral triangle is given how to find the other vertex by rotation?

Please find answer to your question

For the rotation, you should you the concept of rotation in complex number.
And if you know the one point and angle of 2^nd pointw.r.t 1^stpoint, then we can find 2^ndpoint.
Let 2 points P(x₁, y₁) and Q(x₂, y₂)
Now shift the origin to P. Then we have
P(0, 0) and Q(x₂– x₁, y₂– y₁)
Now let PQ = r and theta be the angle PQ made with +ve real axis.
$x_{2} - x_{1} = rcos\theta$
$y_{2} - y_{1} = rsin\theta$
Now we can find x₂and y₂from here.
