How to find the roots of a cubic equation if one root is given

let the root x=@ is given then x-@=0 is the factor of given eq.
The remaining factor of eq can be obtained by dividing by (x-@) to the given cubic eq.
after dividing we get a quadratic eq. which can be factorize easily.
