A crew of an eight oar boat has to be chosen out of 11 men five of whom can row on stroke sideonly, four on the bow side only, and the remaining two on either side. How many different selections can be made?

the question is simple but a bit lengthy.

take various cases when no of the 2members which can row on bth sides is selected, when one is selected and when bothare selected.

i was getting the same ans but the ans given at the back is 45, so now i guess that they might have missed 1 in printing.
