Dear Utkarsha,

[abx+a^2y+1]^2009

sum of coefficient of the binomial expansion we get by putting x = y = 1

we get

[ab+a^2+1]^2009  this value vanishes only when

ab+a^2+1 = 0

now for real values of a put discriminant as greater than equal to 0

we will get the range of b and the corresponding value of a will be the required values
