Q1. An integer is chosen at random from the first 50 positive integers. A is the event 'divisible by 2', B the event 'divisible by the 3', C the event 'divisible by 5'. Find the probability of these events.(a) AB (b) AC (c) BC (d) ABC (e) A U B (f) A U C (g) B U C (h) A U B U C.
(a) Divisible by 2 & 3 both(i.e. 6,12,18,24,30,36,42,48)
P = 8/50 = 0.16
(b) (c) (d) in similar way these can also be done
(e) Divisble by 2 or 3.(i.e. There will be two a.p. 2,4,6,8,10....50 and 3,6,9,12.........)
