(2.4)^x=(2.6)^x-1 has

1. no solution

2. exactly one solution

3. at least two solution

4. infinite number of solution

both 2.6^x and 2.4^x are continuosly increasing functions which are the value 1 at x=0.

there graph will be like the above. you can easily visualise that both the grapsh will have a diference of one atleast once in their course. and it won't be more than one.
