the vector OA where O is given by OA=2i+2j.now it is rotated by 45 degree anticlockwise about O.What willbe the new vector?

OA=√(2)2+(2)2=2√2,px= OAcos90=0,py=psin90=2√2j.coz Paid rotated by 45 and then theta will become 90° hope it would help you

Here the magnitude of the vector is 2√2.. And the magnitude is not changing .... The direction is changing ... The new direction is along the +ve y axis ... And magnitude is same .. So the vector is =

2√2j
