The formula of population density includes the value of immigration. But the formula of increase or decrease in population density does not include immigration in exponential growth. Why? Is immigration possible in exponential growth?

The formula of population density includes the value of immigration. But the formula of increase or decrease in population density does not include immigration in exponential growth.  Why?  Is immigration possible in exponential growth?

Immigration and emigration numbers are not included in world population formulas because the planet is a closed population. People cannot immigrate or emigrate to or from because the planet is a closed population.
