Temperature decreases with height So, inside the lake temperature will be More than the surface of the lake

Water achieves its maximum density at roughly 4°C. That is, water (including ice) at all other temperatures below or above 4°C is less dense. Since matter is ordered from top to bottom by increasing density, any 4°C water in a lake will be found at the bottom

Please find the attached answer to your question
 
As we know water attains its maximum density at 4oC.
Hence, the surface of lake with 2oC is less dense and all the water which is warmer than this will remain below it due to higher density. Thus we will find higher temperature of water at the bottom of lake.
