6N. First find whether the block is moving or at rest. Mgsin37 = 10*3/5=6N is acting downwards and the maximum force that friction can apply is 0.8*Mgcos37=0.8*10*4/5= 6.4N This shows that block is at rest. Now the surface is applying only that much frictional force which is required "just" to keep it at rest which in this case is 6N. Therefore, answer is 6N.
