If l be length of a bar magnet then separation between the two poles is nearly? Answer is 6/7l but how?

Dear student,

It’s like a rule of thumb that the effective length of a bar magnet is considered to be around 85% of its geometrical length. Physically it signfies that in reality the magnetic poles do not resides at the ends of the bar magnet but a litlle inside them.

The Brainliest Answer! Geometrical Length of bar magnet is L , then speration between two poles is nearly equal to 6/7 L
