First we take the carbon after (C=O)O group, excluding C of the group...
So in first case - CH3 is present in both examples  so methyl …
Secondly.... Now count C before (C=O)O group including C of group and add - oate suffix
In first example there are two C, so, ethyl
In second example there is only 1 C, so, Methyl..
