The tendency to attract electrons is known as Electronegativity.
 
In the Modern Periodic table, the Trend of Electronegativity is:
  1. Increases from left to right in a period.
  2. Decreases from top to bottom in a group.
Now, smaller the size of the atom, greater is the nuclear pull on the valence electrons, due to which, the atom of the element can easily attract electrons towards itself. In the above four options, size of Sulphur atom is the smallest. Moreover, it lies in a better position than the other three elements to show more Electronegativity.
