potassium cystallizes in BCC.
hence coordination number in BCC = 8

And sir how do we know that potassium metal crystallises in bcc. Sir, I have just started this chapter a few days ago and maybe i haven't yet read about this. So please could you explain it better. What concept is this question concerned with?
