For each cm^3, there are 10^6 Schottky pairs.
- For each cm^3, there are 10^22 ions.
Thus no of ions per Schottky pair are -
N = 10^22 / 10^6
N = 10^16 ions/schottky pair
Therefore, 10^16 ions are present per Schottky defect.
