This question is a tricky one .For this you only needs to know that through any closed symmetrical surface the total flux is \varphi = Q(enclosed)/\varepsilon . So in the given figure flux through closed surface given is Q/2e as Q/2 lies inside the enclosed surface So for remaning part flux must be equal to Q/2e as the total sum is constant Q/e
Here e stands for permitivity of free space
