There is no such kind of consideration. Category rank is given for the allocation of category seats to respective candidates preference wise

For allocation of seats AIR is considered and category rank is meant for relaxation, be sure that you rank falls under the cutoff list calculated by JEEmain or you are able to make it at Jee allotted institutions as per the counselling rounds, if not then no need to be disheartened as there are so many other reputed institutions where you may seek admission, like – Rajasthan Technical uni, Kota,.........PSG College of TEch, Coimbtore,...........BITS, Pilani,..............Lovely Professional Uni, Phagwara
