The Frick’s solution consisting of 0.01 M FeSO4 in 0.4 M H2SO4 in the presence of dissolved air has been extensively studied for its radiolysis. It is obtained by dissolving 0.4 g of Mohr. Salt, 0.06 g NaCl* and 22 ml conc. H2SO4 in distilled water (dissolved air being present) and making the volume to one litre (NCl* stands for -iraadated NaCl).
