Dear Prakyth Raj,
(1) The % of reservation given to OBCs is 27%. But OBCs are getting 42% as each institute is increasing 54% seats to maintain quantum of general seats (i.e. 77 out of 100 excluding SC-ST seats). OBCs will get 27% of this 154 seats means 42 seats in an institute or class where 100 studen's were admitted before OBC reservation.
(2) There is no any reservatio for creamy layer OBCs. However the OBC creamy layer criteria are very wide. But the OBCs and caste certificate issuing authorities are highly confused. Nobody is reading these criteria. There is a separate rule of post held for govt seravnts and of land holding for farmers. Salary and agricultural income is never counted to determine creamy layer.
