Both are equivalent branches. Basically, ece involves a course of communication technology using electrical engineering concepts. So you will specialize is mobile phone technology, remote sensing, radar, etc. While in eee, emphasis is on electronics like inventions like tablet computers, ipods, etc. So choose which stream you would like to specialize in.
