NIT Kurukshetra IT is a better option , Since the syllabus of both IT and CSE are almost same and NIT K is having better opportunities than Hamirpur.
Metallurgical Engineering is a broad field that deals with all sorts of metal-related areas. The three main branches of this major are physical metallurgy, extractive metallurgy, and mineral processingand thats a good branch, but I think IT is a much better branch
