is IIIT-H is best alternative of IIT CSE? is IIIT-H better than BITS-PIlani for CSE?
IIT CSE is much better than IIIT-H CSE in terms of faculties and placements(considering only old 6 IITs)
On the other hand if you want to pursue higher studies, like an MBA or Masters(in your subject) in a Foreign University then go for IIT. IIT has a brand image out there in foreign universities(which IIIT still lacks) and it definitely helps.
I'd say IIIT Hyderabad>BITS Pilani>IIT Guwahati I say this because 1) IIIT H is a institute dedicated to Computer sciences and its syllabus actually allows U to pursue research in the field on CS from the 1st yr itself!! In most other institutes the scope for research starts only from the second yr or third yr. But ,BITS Pilani has an excellent infrastructure when it comes to CS, and great faculty, as well as some of the finest minds in the country.
