my brother chirag got 16425 rank and in 2nd round and he got production engineering in NIT Agartala, and in further rond he will get computer science and electrical branch. before that in 1st round he got BIT Deogarh pronctin engg branch. Should he go through it or he should adopt other NITs like NIT Jalandhar, Raipur etc. where he will get some loweer prefered branch like chemical, matturlargy in furthure rounds. waise we once have visited NIT Agartala, Massive infrastructure is being constructed there and much infrastructure ha been builty and faculty and placement report are also ok.. N pls answer one more question:- place the colleges in order of prefrence- 1. NIT Patna 2. NIT Silchar 3. NIT Raipur 4. NIT shrinagar 5. NIT Agartala 6. NIT Deogarh 7. BIT Patna

NIT agartala is fine but only prob is tht it is very far!

I thnk u may go for any of above coll but leave NIT srinagar its' placement is not very good!

Ur preference may b like this:

1.NIT Raipur

2.NIT Silchar

3.BIT Patna

4.NIT Patna

5.BIT Deogarh

6.NIT Agartala

7.NIT Srinagar
