The Delhi University conducts the Delhi Combined Entrance examination for those who aspire to join courses like BE and B.Tech. There are two main colleges, the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) affiliated to the Delhi University which offers courses on merit basis only.
85% of admission is reserved to Delhi residents while 15% is offered to candidates of other states on the basis of AIEEE..
