While density of air means the mass per unit volume of the atmosphere of the earth, which alters with the change of temperature and humidity of the atmosphere. Presence of humidity in air makes the condition hot and humidDensity of air (and air pressure) is less in places of high altitude.

The density of air determined by the average molecular mass of gases present in atmosphere.
In dry air , the maximum percentage is occupied by nitrogen(78%) and oxygen(21%) gas  . The molecular weight of nitrogen is 28 and oxygen is 32 .
The average molecular weight of dry air will be 29 .
On adding water vapour the density decreases as the average molecular weight decreases( molecular weight of water vapour is 18) thus humid air has lower density.
