Dear student,
The stomach is made up of smooth muscles which are spindle-shaped, unbranched and uninucleate and do not have any kind of striations or alternate light and dark bands. The movement of the muscle cells is peristalsis which is involuntary and is under the control of the autonomic nervous system.
