You can calculate the Dot Product of two vectors this way:

a · b = |a| × |b| × cos(θ)

Where:
|a| is the magnitude (length) of vector a
|b| is the magnitude (length) of vector b
θ is the angle between a and b

So we multiply the length of a times the length of b, then multiply by the cosine of the angle between a and b

Dot Product of two vectors is defined as the product of magnitude of the two vectors and the cosine of angle between them.
Eg:
A.B= |A|.|B| cosθ
It is Maximum when two vectors are two vectors are parallel or anti-parallel and is minimum when they are perpendicular to each other.

It is an operation on two vectors and returs a scalar. it is given as A.B= |A||B|cos(angle b/w A and B).
