force of gravity will increase by 12 times .
let have two bodies of mass x
using formula
 
f = Gm1M2/ r^2
= G x^2/r^2          equation 1
now by your statement 
 M2 = 3x , m1 = x , r = r/2
 
Again using formula
 F = G M2 m1 / r^2
 
= G 3x^2 / (r/2)^2
= G 3x^2 multiplied by 4 / r^2
= G12x^2 / r^2            equation 2
 
by dividing eqation 2 by equation 1 ,
you will get ratio 12:1 . Hence force of attraction increases by 12
