DEAR  STUDENT
Distillation is the method of getting a pure liquid from a solution by evaporating and then condensing the vapours. When any solution is heated, the liquid component of the mixture evaporates in order to form vapours. These vapours are then condensed back to liquid form. The liquid obtained in this case is very pure.
