U=3m/s
T=5s
Acce=0.5m/s square
to find velocity
acce=V-U/T
0.5=V-3/5
2.5=V-3
2.5+3=V
V=5.5m/s
now to find distance
2as=Vsquare-Usquare
2*0.5*s=5.5square-3square
1*s=30.25-9
s=21.25m

To find the initial velocity
acce=V-U/T
10=0-U/2.5
25=-U
U=-25m/s
i think the answers has an priting mistake because my solution is correct according to me.

13. Solution : Here u = 3 m/s a = 0.5 m/ s^2t = 5 s Now, v= u+at = 3+0.5×5=5.5 m/sS= ut+ 1/2 at^2 = 3×5 + 1/2× 0.5× 25= (60+25)/4= 21.25 m
