The given Dalton’s atomic postulate is as follows:
“Compounds are formed when atoms of different elements combine in a fixed ratio.” This statement is related to the law of multiple proportions and the law of definite proportions.
Here, Avogadro’s law is related to the number of molecules of the different gases whereas the law of conservation of mass states that the total mass during a reaction is conserved.
Thus, Avogadro’s law and the law of conservation of mass are not related to the given statement of Dalton’s atomic theory.
