Good  morning sir/madam  ,

   1.   which structure do the cork cells resemble as observed by robert hooke ?

2.state the condition under which a body trasvels a certain distance and yet its resultant displacement be zero .
  1. express ‘ g ‘ in terms of ‘ G ‘ for a body near the surface of earth .
  1. NAME THE FOLLOWING –
( a) tissue that occurs in specific regions of growth
( b ) tissue present at the growing tips of stems and roots
( c ) tissue at the base of the leaves or internodes on twigs .
( d ) basic packing tissue in the form of a few  layers of cells .

5 . Define evaporation . explain any two factors affecting its rate .

6 .  define : – (a) compressibility
                      (b) rigidity
                       (c) fluidity

7 .  give an example each for the following:-
          (a) solid – liquid homogenous mixture
          (b) gas – gas homogenous mixture
           (c)  liqiud – liquid hetrogenous mixture

8 . identify a cell organelle which is present in both eukaryotes and prokaryotes . discuss thier  shape and location .

9 . (a) why is connective tissue called so ?        (b)what is the function of the aerolar connective tissue ?
(c)which substance is present in the adepocyte ? how does it help-  ?

10 . how does a kungfu master breaks a pile of tiles with a blow from his head ?

Dear student kindly post your questions one by one so that we give you satisfactory answer with correct and complete information. The answer of your first question is as follows-
The credit of discovery of cell goes to Robert Hooke. He observed thin sclice of cork using compound microscope which was made by him.Cork is bark of an oak tree which is made up of cells that are no longer alive. In his observation he noticed that these cells looked like rectangular rooms and they were resembling the honey-comb like structures. He was the first who named cell.
