No atomic mass of an element doesn’t depend on mass its isotope but the average atomic mass of element depends on mass of its isotopes. Since any element occuring in nature contains many of its isotopes , hence we have to consider average atomic mass.

there are two terms mass number and atomic mass. mass number is the sum of number neutron and proton in nucleus of an atom. but atomic mass is the mass of an atomic particle or molecule. moastly atomic mass is average atomic mass and therefore atomic mass of chlorine is 35.5. atomic mass can be fractional but mass nuber is an integer. therefore atomic mass depends on mass number of isotopes of an element.
