In the above question, we want to know the definition of the uniform velocity. When the body is moving with increasing velocity with equal interval of time then the body is said to be in uniform velocity and the example for such is rotational motion of the earth. Complete answer: When a body covers equal distance in equal interval of time with a known direction, small the interval may be then velocity is said to be uniform.Example of uniform velocity: rotational motion of the earth. Students may get confused as the constant velocity and uniform velocity are the same. But the answer is they are different. Uniform velocity is when the magnitude is increasing at an equal interval of time whereas the constant velocity is when the direction as well as the magnitude of velocity remains the same. Note:If body has uniform velocity, then the rate of change of velocity is constant (dvdt=0) and rate of change of velocity is acceleration (dvdt=a)so, on comparing these two statements (a=0). Hence, acceleration is zero.
