An Object thrown at a certain angle to the ground moves in a curved path and falls back to the ground. The initial and the final points of the path of the object lie on the same horizonatal line. What is the work done by the force of gravity on the object?

Dear Student

Work done by the force of gravity on the object is zero. Force of gravity acts in the vertical downward direction and the distance covered the the tiobj of force, the horizontal direction. As there is no displacement in th hence the work done is zero.

Thanks
