Mass = 40 kg
h = 5m
P.E. _ ?[ g = 10 m/ s2]
P.E. = mgh
= 40 × 10 × 5
P.E. = 2000J
When the object falls the potential energy gets transformed into kinetic energy. When the object is half way down
P.e. = will be half i.e. 2000/2 = 1000J
and P.E = K.E.
Kinetic Energy = 1000J
