I think this relation is true for som objects . You can check for the reasons below:
- Taking ice as exaple , temperature increases and ice turns into water. furtherly heated it turnes into gas.
- As temperature increases , the particles in the solid moves appart and turns into liquid and when again heated , particles in the liquid moves appart to form gas.
sublimation is a whole different process where a method is applied to turn something directly to gas without passing through the liquid state.
