intial velocity= u
displacement=height of tower=s
So, final velocity= 3u
acceleration= g
from third equation of motion:-
v- u = 2as
9u2 – u = 2 * g * s
8u2 = 2 * 9.8 * s
s = 0.42 * u2
s = 0.42u2
hence the height of tower is “0.42u2
