Dear student,
A colloidal solution is a heterogeneous mixture. But it looks homogeneous because its particles are very small in size. A suspension is heterogeneous and also looks heterogeneous because the particle size is large and the particles are not uniformly spread throughout the mixture. A solution is a homogeneous mixture.
